Engineered for Safety
Yale has a great history for offering safe lift trucks which are suitable for a range of uses. The ability to engineer and manufacture models for better safety comes from the new technology that is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
In their latest designs, Yale has started incorporating newly available technologies. Several of the new technologies which are on the market are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company conducts many controlled field tests and reliability development in order to ensure their products are very safe.
So as to enhance overall safety, Yale has designed and developed a lot of new features, which have been integrated on a lot of models like:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The ergonomics within the operator compartment along with the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions and exhaustion. These added comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Having adjustable operator's compartment and controls enables the necessary controls to be able to be positioned in close proximity to a huge array of operators. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is operating it. Before starting their shift, the operator could make certain he or she is as comfortable as he or she could be.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation called the Operator Presence System prevents the use of the machinery if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on IC engine truck units.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The liquid propane gas tank has a drop down design that brings it out from the vehicle's center to the natural handling position of the operator that makes it far easier to change.
