Peiner has manufactured and sold over 75,000 models for the international market. Peiner's unique grabs can handle a wide range of materials and products such as iron ores, cement, coke, fertilizers, scrap and refuse. Our years of experience in the overall designing process and in developing high quality products helps to allow our client's be given the proven technology their diverse applications demand.

SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for over twelve years in the US market place. Various businesses such as Waste to Energy, Scrap handling, Steel Mills, Bulk Transfer Facilities as well as many other material handling facilities are now relying on our grabs and buckets to do their jobs.

The design philosophy at Peiner has continually revolved around providing grabs that deal with the largest volume of material vs. grab dead weight. The regular handling ratio for Peiner grabs and buckets is around 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent versus grab dead weight of 40 percent. This translates into transporting greater quantities of supplies quicker. The wear and tear on the crane structure and its related components is less. Through a combination of manufacturing with innovative design and high quality materials, the desirable weight ratio is obtained.

Grab sizes would vary from 1 cubic yard or less to over 50 cubic yards in order to suit the requirements of the client. What's more, Peiner USA Inc. offers a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the units purchased within the United States, as well as the addition of brand new buckets and grabs.
