Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric
The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machines offered by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for example, in industrial settings where the machinery should travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the advantages and versatility of a diesel powered generator using a 48 Volt DC machinery.

Important characteristics that this combination provides is over, out and up positioning capabilities for complete versatility. In addition, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all models, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.

Drive controls and proportional lift controls also provide smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. The 48V DC electric drive system provides emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive settings. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an additional working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.

Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie machines by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine extreme lifting versatility and up, out and over positioning capabilities. The outreach offered by this particular type is the best in the market.

Diesel engine equipment on nearly all modes have an articulating boom that offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machinery are ideal in small or narrow locations. Moreover, they offer exceptional torque, grade and terrain maneuverability and utmost power. The diesel engines are generally quiet too. Most models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to provide great flexibility on surfaces that are rough and uneven.

The 4 or 2 wheel drive models, provide high ground clearance and the rough terrain features which make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom kinds are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models too.
