Use a Pneumatic Forklift
Pneumatic forklifts are common in shipping and warehouse operations. Also known as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used in order to transport materials and things around on wooden pallets using metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump that lifts the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single individual.
Pallet trucks should be operated carefully in order to prevent loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Machine should be checked before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle can smoothly turn. The pallet must be carefully stacked to be able to ensure that nothing will fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level found on the inside of the metal loop in order to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be in the middle to guarantee equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not lift the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is really not safe to push the pallet ahead of you as the thrust can cause it to lose control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop abruptly. Gradually come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
